Dr. DeWire attended veterinary school at the University of California, Davis where he earned the Pfizer Clinical Achievement Award for Excellence in Veterinary Medicine. Dr. DeWire graduated from Amherst College in Massachusetts where he majored in Anthropology and fulfilled his pre-veterinary requirements while playing four years of college football. He enjoys snowboarding, drumming, and playing fetch with his best friend Tryspin, his Doberman.
